Description

The company is seeking motivated apprentices to train in heavy earthmoving mechanics. The role involves completing theoretical and practical training, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy earthmoving machinery, while maintaining accurate training and performance records.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete all theoretical learning, practical training and skills assessments
• Complete documentation for the required building experience (logbook skills, training records)
• Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Comply with safety and quality standards and procedures
• Effective communication, good behaviour, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Grade 12/ N3 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
• Grade 12/ N3 with English minimum pass 50%
• N3/N4 with relevant theory (Motor/Diesel/Electrical) will be an added advantage
• Technician for the world certificate (T4W) will be an added advantage (Compulsory to complete before possible interview date)
• Google search: Technicians for the World or T4W
